California Car Cover had open house sale

Bought 4 car covers, a bag you can put a whole car in EVP brand, California duster, LED conversion (low perf), EZ-up stake kit…$540 total

Trick is to find cars that have very similar silhouette as your. 71-74 Firebird is for my brothers 70 Mach 1. The 78-88 GM notchback is for my 68 notchback barracuda. Corvette is for brothers Subaru BRZ

My order from Layson's arrived yesterday. My shiney new pentastar emblem fills the holes in the fender on the Super Beest.

Been an expensive week.

Nice looking job, but…….
After paying my state and federal taxes along with paying this month’s invoice to the contractor working on my place, I can guarantee that whatever you dished out doesn’t compare. Not trying to belittle your bills, just saying.

This is en-route, back to my shop. Freshened-up/updated my Turbo from Krusty...while we rebuild the engine. Dealing with ATI, is probably the best experience I've had with a race parts
manufacturer in my 55 years of this hobby. It's always been family run, and you can tell.

New brake drums and shoes for my Satellite should be delivered today. Hopefully, this will resolve the rhythmic vibration in the rear of the car at 70-75 mph.

So far I have replaced the following:
* the "chunk";
* axles;
* bearings;
* springs;
* bushings;
* swapped wheels front to back;
* tires;
* new driveshaft and u-joints;

And I have had the car aligned twice and adjusted my driveline angles. I even adjusted the pinion angle 2 degrees, then 4 degrees, in both directions to see if it makes any difference and nothing really changes. We shall see if this helps.

Ordered a Spectra Premium gas tank for my 70 RR. Made in Canada! Had one on my 68, it was very good quality, hopefully they still are.

My trans rebuild pieces came in today from Mancini. Fan shroud is about two weeks out. Gasket/seal package, friction package, bands, 4.2 KD lever, billet band strut, front and rear bushings. Already have my Amsoil Super Shift which is their type F fluid.
