Local place charged me over $ 375 for "rebuild", they crushed the tanks because they didn't pad clamps, according to Glen-Ray they used wrong core, they twisted core in the frame so badly it wouldn't bolt in to car properly and looking in tank a sloppy solder blob was laying in and over multiple tubes straight down from installing filler cap tube, needing rodding to clear. Took it back and they lumped solder all over tank dents and said there was nothing they could do about twisted core. This was supposedly the best repair place in NJ. Called glen-ray, he seemed genuinely interested on phone, didnt rush me off, and he told me to send radiator out to him and he can fix it. Got a call from him a week later, explaining how core was wrong for radiator and everything else that was wrong. He said he had the correct numbered radiator for my car that a customer never came back for and I could just switch mine for it and a very nominal amount (about what a repro shroud costs). Even with shipping and a little something to buy the shop lunch with, the cost was less than half of what i paid the local guy. I had to bully him over the phone when he was taking debit card info just to take the extra money to buy the shop lunch with.. Call him for a quote, his work is impeccable. The radiator he sent me was perfect in every way. Square and true in frame, perfect paint (not the sloppy water based temporary "paint" the local shop dripped/used on their rebuilds), all mounting hardware, looks just like the radiator at top of page. they specialize in mopars so your radiator should be no problem. I wish I would have gone to them first...1st class all the way...
