Get yourself a bottle of Meguiar's #9 Swirl Remover. Get the tan colored bottle from your local parts or paint supplier, not the red bottle from Walmart.
Apply by hand or machine. It's a very mild compound that will remove oxidation and bring back the shine.
Then use the Meguiar's Cleaner Wax. The Cleaner Wax is a thin coating that will last about a year without the buildup that you get from all the other heavy waxes. If you've ever owned a white vehicle, you would see what the heavy waxes do. They hold dirt and grime and distort the color and depth of the finish. Each time you apply the Meguiar's Cleaner wax, you'll watch it remove the dirt and it leaves behind a thin layer of wax protection.
