Hey b body guys! It's another WIW question from an Abody owner!

Here's the story. I currently have a MUSTANG that I am advertising for trades on a nice driver or Mopar project. I have had several offers but recently one has caught my eye. I am wondering if you guys can give me a little insight into value and such of this car. Here is what I know about it so far.

1968 GTX. Project car. 440 Numbers match engine. 727 not numbers match, Dana 60 3.54 gear supposed to be 8 3/4. The car is Blue/Blue, and I assume it is B-5. The car looks complete, with mostly original paint or a old repaint. Quarters have some rust around the wheel wells and such. Car is supposed to have a vinyl top but it has been removed. Has the GTX stripe on lower door in white. Looks like body colored steel wheels. Auto on column, power windows, bucket seats with center buddy seat. The car has a fender tag but no build sheet. Interior is blue also. Front floor pans are rusted and need to be replaced.

I will have photo's of the car later in the week. Any idea on the value of something like this? I think it would actually be a cool car to clean up and drive the way it is! Lots of patina :) Looks like a fairly complete car so searching for long lost parts wouldn't be a problem. The car doesn't seem to have any major rust issues other than the quarters, as the trunk is clean also. Any opinions? Thanks in advance.

Here is one picture I have. Owner said its an older photo and please excuse his sh$$ on the car :)

More info would be good, does it run/drive, or has it been sitting for years? Looks decent, `68's are my favorite. If it is all original and in running condition, I would say around 8K, if not running, but all original, about 6.5K and if it does not have its original equipment with it, about 5K. These are very rough estimates, it's almost impossible to make thes guesses withou more pics, inside and out and verification that all of the body numbers are matching along with the engine and trans. Great potential but would still cost a lot to restore. You thinking about making an offer? Let us know.

Car has been sitting for 15 years the owner said. Column car, supposedly runs but after that long we all know what it takes. Original 440, not original 727, not original rear.
