Its a proven car, good suspension, trans, converter, roller cam, decent heads, intake & carb. Whats not to like. Lack of compression, subpar ring seal? I stick by my prediction.

I'm with you. Plus it's only 3100 lbs, at Atco in November. I bet the DA this weekend will be negative 1000.

I can't see why it wouldn't go 11.6 at 112 or 113.

No compression. Stock cast bottom end. I know c12 is going to slow it down, that's why I mentioned it.

Alright. I'll stick with my guess. That tire will probably actually hurt et and mph with this motor.

Hint:
My GTX with these heads and cam went a best of 11.20.
Test hit showed converter to stall at about 3800.
Probably 2.5 less compression than GTX.

I dunno....stuck a 29" tire on a 318 Demon because of a lot of gear. It had a stock converter which killed the 60' but the thing turned on at 3000 rpm and ran hard to 6200 with a stock bottom end and pocket ported 360 heads. A couple of other small goodies and it ran a 13.50 so maybe Bob's car will go what dvw says. The 'thang' ran 102 mph.....
