Any Steve McQueen Fans

Yup.....he would do anything and ANYONE. His early life is known by few.

Steve McQueen was a legend that us young guys who grew up with him could respect and be an inspiration. So, what male figure do we have currently that would fall into this category ? Guys like the "Duke", Jim Arness of Gunsmoke, Gene Autry. What happened that we have no heroes like these guys were? All I see, is people like Kim K who is famous because she is a ****, guys (athletes) who hit their wives and then whine about it, and the list of dickheads goes on and on.

Everybody can be a celebrity nowdays......most are dickheads. Social media and the MSM are making fortunes off dickheads.

hell yes I was a big fan of Steve

He definately died of cancer probably 20 years or so ago. I think it was either pancreatic or lung not sure - he was going to Mexico for some experimental treatments.

i remember the movie Vanishing Point was pretty famous.

Yes Western, I watch him every afternoon here. I just love the old westerns. Kind of a western is Hell On Wheels. I been watching it since it first aired what, 2 years ago. Love this one. Anyone else watch it? Love the sawed off rifle and how it is carried. McQueen ruled.

I'm a fan too. Wiki has his death on Nov 7, 1980.....

I've seen a few of his movies and have always found him to be too sullen, too reserved. Some probably interpret that as being the "strong, silent type" but I find that style too boring.

Right in line with mmissle & RC...its a barometer of....well You know......

I just watched Bullitt again last night. Still in love with that Charger.
