Anybody else have steering link hitting oil pan?

I talked to Tom. Been there for thirty years. NEVER heard of any problems with this pan! I sent him a video and
some pic's. I told him he should do a Google search. Let's see what happens???

Apparently Tom has a very short memory. Mine was back in his hands about 9 months ago.

I got talked into using this Milodon 31580 Road/Race 7 quart pan on my 499 build. Full turn to the right bumps the corner of the pan. Don't think I want to dent in the pan because I don't know where the baffling is. Should a guy worry about it?

I have a thick *** main girdle system on mine and it just barely rubbed the whole length of the center link. Barely touching it. I removed the center link and took a flapper wheel to it just enough theres a small flat edge where the pan was touching and then whacked the pan with a rubber mallet just slightly . It doesnt touch now.
