I found a gentleman with the original motor for my car. The short block is now .30 over with new pistons and such. My concern is that the block was fixed between the freeze plugs using a lock and stich method. It was pressure tested afterwords and was fine. Is this something to stay away from or would it probably be alright on the street(425hp). Again the short block has had all machine work done and assembled. Thanks for any advice.

I've had it done to cylinder heads with good luck. It's all about the operator who is doing it and following the process.

I had one done but knew the person doing it. It has been seven years without any problems. As said follow the directions.

Loc-N-Stitch is a great approved repair. As long as it was done correctly (sounds like it was), it should be fine.
