Well, somebody should probably done do it! LOLThe thread title should be:
"Anyone know whose car this is?"
Sorry but standards have been slipping since Kern Dog gave up his grammar correction policy.
More likely 9 1/4" like some C-bodies.I wonder why a police 440 equipped car would have the 8.25" rear end?
Ok ok. Let me correct the record then. He only drove Ferds on the street and he drove a Plymouth into a building
That was some detective from a police TV show in the 80s. But I can’t recall what show, so lose that quiz question!
Pretty sure he crashed one like the Coronet into the building the thief wanted in one of his Dirty Harry flicks. Could have been a Plymouth. Been a long time since I saw it but I remember it being that color.Sadly, Clint only drove Ferds in all of his movies![]()
Cause the 8 3/4 was done, and it didn't need a 60?I wonder why a police 440 equipped car would have the 8.25" rear end?
Ah, you're right. I just noticed the E44 code.Cause the 8 3/4 was done, and it didn't need a 60?
Edit: I think the last year for a 60 in a passenger car was 71, but it could have been 72. Anybody know for sure?
And that "cop car" was a 318 originally.
There was 8.25, 8.75 and 9.25 in 74. Being the car in question was a 318, 8.25.Cause the 8 3/4 was done, and it didn't need a 60?

60's were in 72, I know a guy that had a 72 GTX auto with a 60.
Also, last year of the long stroke/ manual transmission.
