Neither the front or the back doors go up all the way so yes, both need more tension. I don't mind the rear door not being up all the way since the lower panel is at about a 45 degree angle so it catches some breeze which helps move some of the hot air from the attic. My attic is open and the door is easy to open unlike the front door. It opens further but it's hard to lift when it's down.....but it's not hard enough for me to pull a muscle or anything. The front door has a good screw drive opener but that was for the wife and not me. Think I'll give it to her when the divorce is finalFortunately torsions use a common shaft but still the door would work better with same size springs.
8 rounds is not much. Keep tirning until the door starts to lift off the floor and then back them off a
little. To much tension will make it hard to get down.
