Well, the reason if it could have been a like a plug and play, because I am basically doing it just the same as an OC Performance setup on my 2010 5.7 Challenger. Since there is an Old school adapter plate made just for an LS throttle body out there, I would of tried to adapt an LS TB to my car, not that I would like it but, I would of tried it. But again, I could try to make a plate to accommodate the Mopar TB. I was chatting with another guy on a different forum that supposedly has an OC adapter plate, but I just need to be patient and hope to see if he'll find it.Pretty much exactly the same path that I took, here is what I found out;
1. As far as making an LS TB work with a G3 Hemi harness, I am sure it can be done but as far as I know there isn't an adapter. That said I have see videos where they talk about using an LS TB on one so I am very sure its possible especially if you are using a Holley ECU and can configure it.
2. In reference to the LS TB adapter, this was the first route I went and it can work but the bolts for the Hemi TB end up very close to the O ring. The main problem at least for me was/is that the adapter sat too high and the air grabber door was hitting my air cleaner (not by much).
If I remember right the Hemi TB was offset slightly on the adapter due to the part that hangs down. If I were to do it again I would try and grind off some of the plate to allow the TB to be more centered (again, it was off just a tiny amount).
I still have mine hanging on the wall, I guess we could work something out on it if you were interested.
