Anyone use Walker Mega Clamp, Lap Clams on their exhaust?

Just curious if anyone else has used the Walker Mega Clamps, specifically the lap clamps on their exhaust? I decided to spend a few extra bucks and get rid of those damn u-bolt clamps, never have liked them, always had leaks, and rather then weld up the exhaust, decided to go this route. I really like them, they look much better than u-bolt clamps, seal real good, they are stainless steel with grade 8 blots, made in the USA, and now its nice and quiet under the car. We will see how durable they are over time.

Band clamps are alright and work well, but all my new stuff is going to V-band clamps.

I looked at v-band clamps also, and like the idea, but could not justify the expense for my ride as they are, wow, expensive!!!

I use the lap band clamps, work awesome!!

Me also, use them on my tail pipes...Band clamps that is.

My exhaust slips on the collector and the old flat stailess 4 inch clamps were starting to slip off. After the 2nd time I blew a pipe off I went o the lap joint clamp.Went to the track Saturday and they held GREAT!!
