and how did the insurance find out??
When I insure my cars with Hagerty, one of the questions they ask is if it has any performance upgrades. I've never bought a caged car so I'm not sure if that would count but I suspect it would. What I do know is that non-disclosure to the insurance company means you could be paying for non-insurance if you ever have a claim. They have never required pics from me.

That's why I switched to Grundy. Less hassles and restrictions. They were also cheaper. Grundy knows exactly what my cars are....and are insured for agreed value.
We have 10 units insured with them, with their MVP plan.
 
it's about them finding out after the incident, when you've told them the car isn't modified other than what was listed, and they wash there hands!
That I understand but i wonder just how many insurance contracts cover that language in their policies
