Are stock heater hoses 5/8 ?

My car didn’t come with heater hoses or fittings when I bough it. Are the hoses 5/8 ? And what about the nipple thread sizes ? Thank you, for any help

It would help if you said what car you're working on. Up through 69 the hoses were both 5/8", after 70 they were generally 5/8" and 1/2"
