Assembly info

Here are the 426 block casting number that I have
2406730-1 = 4 (1963-64)
2468030 = 1 - A426 (1965)
2532230-2 = 1 - B426 (1966)

And here is something that is interesting.
I Have a 426 MX HAF 82 PF (letters and numbers that are stamped on the upper portion of the front pad
and on the lower part of the pad 3 3 A with an arrow pointing towards the left side of the pad.
There is no casting number or date on the block and it has a heavy reinforced like bar running across he middle of the block. And surprisingly it has the 426 Hemi side bolts cast into where the mains are, but are not drilled through for use as is the 426 Hemi block. It has R6 stamped in front on the block and has 2 bosses cast into the front of the block as well.
I think that this block was used as a marine block, but not sure.
If anyone knows more about this block, let me know.

While everyone is here. I know there is the insulation pad that goes under the intake. Are these shields installed on the front and back of the intake of my 65 426 street wedge?

On the 65 heater delete cars was there a cover placed on the firewall to cover heater hose openings? Was the opening unpunched?
