It appears to be an armrest/buddy seat. Look at the second picture down and you will not see a front console bracket by the gas pedal. It also appears to be an original white car by the white on the brackets and the firewall by the pedals.

as far as that charger goes...wow.
that poor car...

back yard has some lookers tho,78? RR and a vertible on the trailer?

Yes, not my yard, it belongs to a Ford guy, he does a lot of 428 torino stuff. He sold the 76 after I got the charger. Also bought the convertible from him, its a real roadrunner. Lemon twist with AC, going to get built as soon as the charger is out of the way.

when i was growing up,my sisters bf,
had a 69 torino w a 428,triple black.
that car was Fast and would run!
i looked it up once i started learning about cars,but he had sold it.
ive only seen 2 legit ones since then,in all these years.
i really would like to have a clone in the garage.

nother thought,the day i bought my " first " Car Lot car,
the guy had a 427 galaxie out front off to the left of the 340 duster...
teardop hood n all still on it.
looked at it for all of 5 seconds and bought the duster.
sure makes me wince,knowing what i know now...lol...

Yes not sure about 70 due to shift interlock but again with my own eyes I've seen a column shift bucket seat center console 68 coronet rt convertible with the shifter delete plate on the center console so I know they exist
