Belt routing

Hi everyone my dad just bought a 70 dodge coronet it has a 383 2 barrel and he wants to remove the ac compressor but he doesn’t know what size belt to get or how it routes with out the ac compressor can anyone help me out with this?

Non a/c is different everything. Pullies, brackets etc. So are you thinking an idler to replace the compressor?

Yea there is an idler pulley on it right now

Could he buy a smaller belt?

you could measure with a rope and go to local auto shop and tell them what size you need. . I would switch over to non ac setup.JMO
