never throw any old part out till your done with your car. Had to learn this the hard way. My car is a 69 sport sat conv with factory air. I have the AC/alternator belts. The water pump fan belt uses a idler arm to keep tension. Does anybody know the lenths of that belt and the power steering belt? Or does anyone have numbers i could cross check. thanks

Use a piece of 3/8" rope to find out the belt length. It won't necessarily be exact, but will get you close.

On my 440, the water pump belt is 3/8" x 38 1/8" and the steering pump belt is 3/8" x 43.

I just gave them the specs at autozone and they pulled them up in the computer.make model engine size and a/c.
