Bench seat to buckets and console.

So its not just the linkage that I would have to pull? Is there a way to tell if I have the right tail shaft for this conversion? I don't believe the parts car has an engine or tranny. I have a 727 transmission BTW.
I'll see if I can find a picture. Many 727 transmission tail shafts did NOT have this boss on them. It is near the speedo gear and has two holes. In these two holes bolts a L bracket that has a nylon bushing. The shaft of the console shifter goes through this.

My explanation above is probably poor. I'll try to find a picture...

Edit: Here is the bracket:

Not a great picture, but best I could find for now. This is how it bolts in

I would think a 67 has the holes for that bracket

You mean these holes?

That's them. The car transmissions had them, the trucks did not.

Yup, you got 'em!

Now all you need is the bracket. It's available if you look it up on-line and not very expensive.
I'm pretty sure the parts car will not have it. Year One sells the whole kit and Kaboodle for like $95.

I found a parts car that has a full interior in the same color as my 67 Charger. I know I will have to make a hole in the floorboard and was wondering what else I would need to do. Can I drill out spot welds for the console mounts or just cut them out? Also, for the bucket seats, are the holes in the floor already there or would I have to drill new ones? I plan on taking the steering column, console, any harness's(I can new ones cheap) I can get at, the linkage and the shifter arm. For me the cost and the work should be well worth it, lets face it, buckets and a console are much cooler than a bench seat. Let me know what you guys think.
Bench is far less common...just sayin

I was actually wrong in what I was saying. Its a buddy seat. I didnt know that until I brought the car home.
