What's it Worth Best way to sell a Superbird?

99% of the population think the Superbird is ugly and likely don't know what they are.

The rest of us would crawl over broken glass to get a chance to buy one that appears to be unrestored like the one here.
But most of them, will lowball you'
or just flat out don't have the funds...

It occurred to me if the seller just wants cash quickly contact Mopars5150. They have a YouTube channel. The seller will get 15 minutes of fame on YouTube, a Mopars5150 jacket, and cash. Plus they haul it away.

They know not to wash it at this point. What would I high reserve be for a wing car nowadays. I stopped watching Mecum and BJ probably 10 years ago when these wing cars were going for around 250k.
Really need to post this question in the Classifieds sections on here,
in the What's It Worth, WIW forum section on here...

No link sorry

look in the forums tab above, to the far left, click that scroll down
it's in the Mopars Cars Parts Market place classified section
about 3/4 of the way down on that page...

Sorry it's listed in, as
EBay / Craigslist / Market Place / WIW

Someone I came across is considering selling this car. They aren’t a mopar person and I’m not a B Body person.

1970 Superbird 440 Auto with 54k miles. Seems to be pretty untouched.

I found it. Pretty well hidden. Been on joeys forums for 18 years and struggled with that.

I was going to say around $220,000-$225,000 even though it isn't a 440+6 or a 4 speed car. The apparent originality will make it very desirable to collectors. I would say $240,000 reserve.

Bidders will stop bidding if they don't reach the reserve amount when the bids reach high amounts of money. The reserve needs to be high enough to satisfy the seller, but low enough to suck in multiple potential buyers and then watch the big wallet egos go crazy to outbid one another to have this car.

The owner needs to carefully retrieve the Broadcast Sheet and have a clear picture of it in the auction pictures.

I don't think I'm crazy.

There are Mopar lovers (not flippers) with "deep pockets" in Europe.

I sold a nice Hemi GTX on this site three years ago, bought it here as well. I was ready to take the car to Mecum, but ended up with a smooth transaction with a member here with a serious collection. It was nice to be able to not give up a big chunk to an auction house.

The problem with selling a high end car like that on the internet is what you will draw out of the wood work. For every real buyer, you will draw at horde of trolls. A fellow GTX guy down the road from me used BAT a few years ago, and got what I consider good prices on a Hemi GTX and an A12 Super Bee.

That’s kind of why I volunteered to post this instead of just telling the seller to put it up. They don’t seem like much of a car person and I figured I could just let him know when someone that seemed serious was asking about it.

Don't touch anything!! Don't even wash it!!!

Offer it on Bring A Trailer with lots of professionally taken photographs.

Set a very high reserve price.

Why is the fender tag black? Should it not be the car color?

My two cents! Why do we have a brand new poster worrying about how to sell a strangers car?? There's much more to the story here...

Car was posted on Aero Cars, it's probably already sold to someone by PM...

I ran across it on another forum and like Mopars and figured people on here would if nothing else like seeing the car. Nothing else to the story, I’m not making any money off selling the car for the guy.

You can go over to forabodiesonly snd find me with my thousands of post over 18 years. Seems like someone else is doing the same thing as me on aero cars. As of about 10 minutes ago the car is not sold and I don’t know if the owner is 100% set on selling it.
