Blast from the (not so distant) past! Winged Warriors in South Dakota

Found some old pics on my computer. I think I've got a bunch of actual photos around somewhere too. I don't remember exactly what year this was. I think about 2003? The Winged Warriors did a meet in Rapid City SD and I was fortunate enough to attend. Had a great time, met some awesome and friendly folks, and drove all over the Black Hills. I was only about 16 or 17 at the time but I had my 69 Charger. Enjoy the pictures. If any of you were there that would be great to hear.

Names of the folks I met escape me now unfortunately. I remember a couple of guys drove out from Washington in their birds. Believe that was one of the blue ones and maybe the green one.

I recognize some of those from the TDC Meet in Jefferson City Missouri in 2006. Have pictures of some of them including the rare black one from Canada originally.

I was in my early teens when this event happened I live just over the border from South Dakota in Wyoming. I heard a few of the wings car actually went through Upton and they stopped because one needed a mirror I believe. I missed out on seeing the cars and I was so bummed since I was a wing car nut since I was a little kid!! Fortunately I was able to buy a 1970 Superbird back in 2019 so I would love to take it to a Wing car event! It would be awesome if they decided to host another event in the black hills I know of a few wing cars in Wyoming and montana that would be able to make.
