Hey guys, thought I was out of the project car game… I acquired the Jackpine Savage 67 R/T in a trade and I actually sold my 68 Satellite. Something I didn’t think I would do.

But my engine builder Gary is building me a 440 blower engine and I need something to put it in. So I bought this 63 Belvedere.

Yikes that’s almost exactly the look I’m going for. Was thinking of painting engine bay and inner fender wells maroon “boat” metallic, black steelies on back and cragers front. We are blacking out the blower like this. Probably only be about 700hp.

My USCartool kit and the Alston Chassis works 8 point cage arrived last week. Hoping to start metal work in January.

In case it matters to you, the position of the new shackle hanger will raise up the back of the car. I'm going to do something along the line of this picture, for my 65, so that the ride height does not increase.

Well new floors, trunk pan, springs moved in, mini tubbed, rear end narrowed, and most of the roll bar done.
