I like to day dream about cars and trucks and what they would look like with additions and subtractions of parts and sections of different makes and models.
Here's one of my favorites...
It's a 1946-48 Dodge 1 1/2Ton rolling chassis and body. 2 speed rear end, transfer high/low..
duals and a flathead 6.
Now, I SEE IT with a 2020 Dodge roll back wrecker bed behind the cab on a 2 ton 4 x 4 truck chassis, a mighty Elephant motor and modern transfer case. Huge ventilated discs with monster calipers at all 4 corners, chrome wheels, radial long haul tires, keep the patina, modern custom frame and suspension, new glass, rubber and seals, deluxe leather clad interior suitable for long haul classic car fetching in all weather conditions, cab roof lights, LED headlights, the entire front clip, including fenders rotating forwards like a semi truck front end, barrel gas tanks both sides under the bed. new chrome everything.
