I have a non electric (manual??) oil pressure gauge that fluctuates and bounces all over the place when the car warms up.
I'm going to assume the gauge is defective and replace it or should I have other concerns

Thanks in advance
Jack

I have found that manual guages are usually give a pretty accurate picture of what engine is doing. That said, trying another guage is about as cheap as any to check.

Had a bad bearing cause that once. It was just about to spin.

I have just noticed the same thing, bouncing gauge when fully warmed up. My first thought was air in the line, I've never bleed the thing. Hope it's not a bearing!!

Low oil causes a gauge to bounce too, your dipstick could be off.

Glad to hear your issue was that simple. I learned a few things from this post to be aware of when the gauge is acting up. Thx for the post.

Sometimes it's an obvious fix but you can get "too educated" on Al Gore's internet.
