My '64 Nova (see my avatar) has an 8 3/4" Mopar rear end. I think it's a 489 case. It's time for brakes (drum) and I have no idea what vehicle the rear end came from. Are all 489 case brake components the same?
As others have pointed out , Brake Drum diameter ( likely
10 “ vs 11 “ ) and Brake Shoe Width ( likely 2 1/2 “ ) are the critical measurements…
A picture of the wheel ( all as is — mounted ) will tell me instantly what you have……

They are Timken rollers.Looks like 11x2.5's. Many of the mid and full sized cars use those. I'm putting that stuff on my 67 Coronet wagon. I ordered up drums, shoes, cylinders, hardware for a 70 Coronet rear. Just so you have a starting point. I'm curious to see what axle bearing setup you have. Tapered Timken rollers, the best, or aftermarket Green units which are ball bearing and suck.
Excellent! Look like this setup with the adjusters?

Can't seem to find the adjusting procedure for you. Sure it's on the forum somewhere or another member will chime in. I can also take pics of it from my FSM tomorrow and post them here.
Got 'em both. While I'm thinking of it, you'll need a dial indicator set and a dead blow hammer for the procedure.
Will do!Here you go. Before installing the new bearings, pack them just like the fronts. Same grease even. They are not oil bath, unless the inner seal has an issue. If you have not found Timkens, set 7, try your stores. Also Craig from Mobile Parts is a possibility, along with Rock Auto and Amazon. Bearing supply houses too. Anything other than Timken is junk.
