Hey, I have decided to for-go the doe and put the white ball in the floor. Good with Brewers expertese and should be just putting one foot in front of the other till done. Is there anything to watch out for or something that might throw a curve in this adventure?I will be removing a 1965 push button 727 trans that has been rebuilt, just like everything else front to back of the car. Also am wondering the best way to market the trans and cables for sale. I was told that this was exclusive to the 65 model only. The 64 had a bolt flange for the driveshaft to hook too. This one has the slip yoke, which will allow the driveline to work perfect for the 833.

I did the swap on my 68 RR years ago and it's pretty easy. The drive shaft fits but you will need a 4 spd cross member because the mount is in a different place, or modify the auto one. Weld ball stud on the frame in proper alignment. Cut big hole in floor and get the hump. The clutch pedal on my 68 was an easy add on to the factory auto bracket and all you need besides the pedals is the clutch pedal bracket and drill two holes in the firewall. I'm thinking the early B bodies had a similar setup. Ground the tranny neutral safety switch pin at the relay. Make sure you have the correct flywheel for the engine used. I.E. a cast crank engine is externally balanced.
