Bullet Hole? I'm Not So Sure

Looks kinda big to me to be from a bullet....

Given the angle ect….I’d assume the round is stuck in a drop down

I've shot cars with .308, .45, .22, and slugs from a 12 gauge. There would be an exit wound or damage inside. The energy was not absorbed by the impact and whatever did it, didn't glance off.
The way the metal is torn rather than creased, I would say somebody backed into it with a piece of equipment.

Looks like it but I’ve done that and if it is there’s another mark somewhere. Bullet didn’t go through and drop instantly. At the minimum it hit the trunk lid. If there’s no other mark someone hit it with something.

Maybe it got side swiped by the equipment they were using to plow the snow. Both the snow and the hole look new.

What kind of a machine made the tracks that are really close to the car?

I would be looking REAL closely in the trunk. You should find it, or where it exited.

Pumpkin ball?

A bullet hole, I don't think so. Something sharp gouged it. Also looks like metal is flattened around and below it. If there is no exit hole or the a bullet is not found in the trunk, then a definite no.

I agree with Jerry, what made those tracks, chances are good that thats where you hole came from.. If it's a bullet then without an exit hole the bullet has to still be there....
