Cam recomendation

Btw... Here's the 661 idling at 850 rpms.

We swapped it because the low compression was very hard starting. Sounded great when we got it running, revved like a beast. If we just used 9.5:1 pistons...

Another option was to keep the cam with a 4 or more degrees advanced crank gear. That would've increase the static and cranking pressure. Oh well. Hind sight 20/20.

Thanks. Hopefully you won't have the issue we had. Get as close to 9.5:1 compression and 9 way timing set then be sure to degree in the cam. If you do that you'll be fine.

I just remember another reason why we couldn't swap pistons. We maxed out the bore which mean we could get the skirt clearance we needed. Bummer all the way around.
