can't get exhaust to seal up

None, I removed the driver side manifold to check the freeze plugs a couple months ago.

What heads do you have?

We would just spray the surfaces with copper permatex... no gasket on factory manifolds

If the surfaces are flat they won't leak.

You are correct. No gasket.

But look up exaust manifolds in the service manual and it says to check for a bad gasket if you have a leak. Lol
And yes I'm talking about a authentic Chrysler service manual.
