So my car spent the first 30+ years of its life in Tennessee and now it looks like I may be moving down near Nashville and the cars coming with. Just thought it was cool. The car went from TN to PA where I bought it and brought it to NJ then ND and now possibly returning to Tennessee.

Pretty cool......sounds like you and the car really get around.

Just trying to find out where I belong. Don't want to spend 12 grand a year on property taxes (NJ). Moved to North Dakota, making good money with the oil boom but only got to play with the toys for a few months...

Yikes! 12K? That's homicide! I hear you on ND. Spent time out there working the oil fields as well. Not a fan.........I more into actually seeing a tree or two, non-windy day's and road's that don't take out ball joints every other time you go down it. Good luck wherever you end up.

Yeah no kidding. Don't forget the bugs lol. I would probably stay here if it was still the small town friendly people I remember when I was little. But its changed and the cons outweigh the pro's.

My car is a Jacksonville car. It was bought by a Marine in Vietnam through the Chrysler overseas sales rep at Danang, picked up at a dealership in Buffalo, NY when he returned to the states, and he took it to his next assignment at Camp Lejeune. While there he lived in Jacksonville, NC and the car was passed down though four owners in Jacksonville until a medically-retired Marine moved down here to FL and brought it with him and I got it from him so it went from Jacksonville, NC to Jacksonville, FL.

My daughter and her husband live south of Nashville and she enjoys the slower pace of life there, also no state income tax and very reasonable property tax. Good luck with your move.

Sure would like to move away from Houston but can't seem to get the wife to go along with it.....

You guys in Houston gotta to be half-nuts to put up with all the traffic down there! Crazy! Pretty sure I'd have arthritis in my middle finger in about a week.

Good luck with the move for both you & the car going home...
