I have an extra bed but it's a 'big' single..doesn't that mean sumthin?
Not me - not yet.
Good Afternoon! Would you rather have a monetary donation or I choose items to bring? When we started the FBBO tent activities quite a few years ago, we were hoping to expand the tent size and encourage site members to get together and have a good time. I am happy to note that we have been extremely successful doing that. Once @Pistol Pete got involved the food became awesome too!
The bad news is this has become extremely labor intensive and costly. Last year alone, Pistol Pete and I were still in the hole by almost $350. And this was after counting donations offered up by members at the tent (there are some extremely generous donors, and we greatly appreciate all of you who recognize the effort that goes into this). There is also a whole lot of planning and setup that has to happen: Food has to be planned, brought fresh and kept cold, then heated and served. We need tables, plates, napkins, condiments, etc. You get the idea - this is a lot of work and it is getting quite expensive for us to put this on every year.
I say the above not to complain, but to note that we need to start doing things a bit different, because @Pistol Pete and I will not be able to keep up with the effort and cost required to now put this on.
In prior years, we asked people to bring things but generally didn't track who was going bring what (or what was needed). This year, we are going to ask for commitments from members to bring specific things for the tent luncheon. Last year, we had over 120 people at the tent, so we need quite a bit of stuff!
Requested Items/ Help:
Pistol Pete and I (with perhaps one or two others) will still provide the main food items.

- Raffle: The Raffle takes quite a bit of time to deal with. It is a fun time, but I would like to ask if someone can coordinate this.
Please let me know if you can help. You can either send me a PM or respond to the thread with what you are committing to bring.
I'm looking forward to Carlisle 2025!!!
How many people are we expected to bring for?Good Afternoon! Would you rather have a monetary donation or I choose items to bring?
At this point I would say bringing items we still need would be more helpful. (See the last list Hawk had posted, chips, brownies etc.)Good Afternoon! Would you rather have a monetary donation or I choose items to bring?
The weather can always torpedo our plans, but based on the growth in attendance of the past few years, I'd say between 120 to 150 people. The smoker has been running every Sunday for a few weeks now.How many people are we expected to bring for?
Thank you - See response on a PM!Good Afternoon! Would you rather have a monetary donation or I choose items to bring?
