Funny you should ask, I came across this ebay listing, today, and thought of this post! $16+shipping seems a bargain, if you need these.

Click this link

Scroll to the bottom pictures - Page 263 Brass Floats

You can see the difference between the two brass floats I mentioned - Size

Walker uses different part numbers in relation to Carter but it’s plain as day in the pictures
100-123
100-124

In relation to those Factory Carter Numbers I just listed above

Original Cart AFBs for Mopar used the 21-179 Float ribbed side. Cadilliac and others used 21-188 smooth side. They have different area which would impact float level effect on the needle/seat.

Original AVS for Mopar used 21-241, 21-245. AVS are different then AFB.

Your model used the 21-245 float.

Thanks Rishi but you wouldn't believe they don't have the floats for the 4640sa
You already knew that on Monday when you posted the question

I gave you the part numbers yesterday

They haven’t been available in moons

Swap meets - I saw a bunch at Carlisle

I should of bought them

eBay

Even old Carter AVS junk cores

Anyone know the part number for floats on Hemi cars.

1966 if it makes a difference.

How about carb kits ?
Might as well stock up on them as well while Im doing this

Hemi is 21-179 ribbed. Cores from old carbs is the correct answer for getting these parts.

My brother can get me kits and floats

224D Echlin / Hygrade kits
FL98 Hygrade floats

I just had him set me 4 of each aside for my next visit back home.

There is going to come a time getting crap like this is tough,, damn tough.

426 hemi do not use that style. The pull off is the piston in the thermostatic choke.

So there is more than one ribbed float? Can you see the difference when side by side?
