Challenger brand 2 post car lifts. Opinions?

I think that's a great idea.

Yep, but not an option with my lift.

I'm organizing to make some drive on ramps that I can then lift so car is on wheels to weld in sub-frame connectors. I'll post pics when I finish them.

Lift looks great Greg! Clear floor hoists are way to go if you have the ceiling height.

I'm looking for any excuse possible to use this thing. Some pictures from yesterday...

Nice under body Greg - so shiny:glasses2:

I made some ramps so I can lift car on it's wheels like on a 4-poster. Will be used when I weld in sub-frame connectors (made from same material as ramps!)

(I was pondering what to make them from and how much it would cost me when my work was throwing out lengths of 2" x 6" x 1/8" RHS, so they cost me nothing :eusa_dance:)

That is brilliant. What a smart way to utilize the 2 post lift while keeping the weight of the car still on the tires!

Thanks Greg. I thought there would have been solutions out there already, but I could find none. So it was a job for DIY, and cost me nothing but my time too!
