Guy's been reading until my eyeballs hurt - AGAIN. I try and research prior to asking questions like this.....

Does anyone on the site have a MID RISE lift? Looking for opinions and facts about any.

Here is what I have learned so far in my research -

Bendpak MD-6XP Around $1,900 delivered.
- 6,000 capacity, "best looking" locking mechanism. I say this because it is the most beefy. I'm one that takes things to the next degree - example, I see a lot of people climb under a car with just a jack holding a car up. I'm the guy that has 4 jack stands on just the back of the car.

Revolution RMR6. Around $1,900 delivered.
-Same 6,000 capacity. Locking mechanism is more like the next one in which it has smaller increments of locking positions. Some have posted on other sites this was a main factor for low ceiling garages versus the BandPak that you have more space between "locking" positions and need to be careful to not go too high in a low ceiling garage because you have to raise it up slightly to make it go down.

Atlas TD6MR. Around $1,300 delivered.
-Same 6,000 capacity. Same locking mechanism as the Revolution. Again, not the same as BendPak, but since the Revolution is the same, I would think the locking mechanism is rated for more then the 6,000 it claims to be safe.

I've found good reviews from each option above. Looking for some feedback.

Do you want a mid rise because of height constraints? Just askin, because for about the same price as that highest one, you can get a Bend Pak two post lift.

My garage is 20 x 20 and I have to fit two cars in it. I would even consider a Maxjax, but would take up too much room.

have you seen the lift that ma snart had posted awhile back :eusa_think:

Have you checked out the Shop, Garage & Tools forum section, there is a decent thread about lifts there also...
