Change Wheel Backspace and/or New Chrome Hoops

I'd say not.

In the pic of the rear, you can see the five weld beads.
There are steel inserts, cast/forged into the centers.

Same construction as Cragar SS.
Also looks like the same barrel setup, raised section where the center goes, with a little more on the backside to weld it.

Captain Obvious here: Replacing the barrel on a 14" wheel with a 15" barrel requires a barrel with a deep groove, or depression, in the right spot to weld to the center.

I have a few steel wheels that were changed to 15, easy to see the original 14" center and the barrel coming in to meet it.

No one seems to know where to buy chrome hoops.

Years ago when Stockton Wheel was still a thing I called about getting sbp chrome reverse made. Guy said I send my 14" wheels, the pop out the center, chrome it, then put them in a new chrome barrel.

I doubt they were making them, so from where?

In my case, I think my only options are:
Custom spacers - boooo!
Find Cragars with the backspace I want and see if someone will swap centers, but they'll still be 14" and at this point I don't care.

Mopar rallye wheels and steelies apparently have the same diameter centers, 14 or 15 and easily swap into 5th Ave hoops.
