I'd like to get my clutch to engage earlier and wanted to know which direction to turn the nut on the rod, forward or back?
Will this effect my free play or will it help solve my situation?
Now it doesn't engage until nearly let out all the way.
1970 Roadrunner 833.
Recent rotisserie resto, so everything is nearly new.

Is the return spring present? Make sure....Clutch adjusting.... the nut on the threaded rod towards the rear of the vehicle will tighten the clutch adjustment....

Do you mean that by doing this my pedal will engage sooner?
Thank you.
