Clutch

I have the motor out of my 69RR and at this time would like to replace clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. I currently using a 12 inch McLeod set up and seem to be working well. I have a few miles on this clutch and seems to be fine , But feel that seeing that motor is out might as well put in new !! Any outer Clutch Brands Recommendations would be helpful.

I've never run a McLeod, but I have run stock, Zoom, Hays & now Centerforce diaphragm style. I am VERY impressed with the Centerforce dual-friction. I did have to remove the over-center spring (short, big fat one), but that was pretty easy, though a tight fit to get it out.

I'm running McLeod in two cars and I think they are top notch. Hard to beat one.

Centerforce Dual- Friction is my choice, but you really can't go wrong with McCloud, Hayes or Zoom.

I can't imagine a clutch better than a Centerforce dual friction. I suggest you study up on them, and they will tell you what makes their technology work so well. The ease of pedal is just amazing..................MO
