Converting a 72 Satellite to a Roadrunner.

Ok fellas, and ladies, just started my 72 Satellite to Roadrunner clone, yes I know the arguments out there but here's the way I see it. It's my car, I'm not gonna sell it plus it's going to a blast. Currently my car has a 318 with a 727 tranny. I plan on converting it to a BB, Air Grabber hood. Complete color change. Yes I know I have a very long road straight uphill.
I plan ( for your entertainment ) to document the process on this thread for your enjoyment.
I did score a great deal on a 8 3/4 possitive traction rear end for an awesome price. Pictures for your enjoyment.

Car looks like its in good shape. Looking forward to seeing more. Still working on my clone project...I see it the same way you do. Yes make that car how ever you want to. I have been thinking about the air grabber hood on my car as well. I actually stumbled on a craigslist ad for a couple 70 GTX airgrabber hoods in my area he is asking 800 for one and 1500 for the other.

For right now just a basic rallye dash.

Mine is a fiberglass satellite hood you think that would work. An air grabber setup would look so cool

Absolutely, you or you'll need someone with a steady hand to do the actual cutting. But it should bolt right on.
