Couple engine questions

Just have a couple quick dumb questions, figured it might be easier to ask all at once.
First question.
My 440 has the old bulldog two piece valley plate that looks like this.

I can't seem to be able to locate where I put the bolts... So I went to order some, of course ARP run 30-40bucks for a set of 6 and I need 8... I take it they get pretty warm and I shouldn't use ones I grab down at the hardware store? Hate to buy two sets.
Second question.
Should I use studs for my headers? I'm running aluminum heads and kinda worried about jacking up the threads in the heads. Not that I plan on removing the headers every weekend...
Third question.
I'm using an MSD distributor with MOPAR performance blaster and module box. The problem I see is the plug on the distributor is about 6" long that goes to the module and its is 8" at the most... not very long. Is there a simple extension to buy so I can mount the module on the fender or in the car? or is that just something I gotta splice?
Think thats about it for now.

Talk to ARP tech support, they will sell or just send you the extra 2. I needed a different 2 bolts in a bolt set, and they sent them to me free.
 
I would use studs, keeps torque value better and your not "pulling" on the threads in the aluminum.

Store bought bolts will work just fine.....get stainless if ya can.

Thanks 5.7 hemi, didn't know that. Everything else has studs but my headers came with bolts and was wondering do I use those or order some studs. I'll get some studs.
Yeah the msd kinda threw me off. I hooked the module up to the distributor and it hardly reaches to the headers... I don't have any instructions so maybe I'm missing something??? Maybe someone will have an idea.
