It's a good idea to keep a small box in the trunk with miscellanous things, such as electrical tape, ballast resistor, spark plugs, ignition box, etc. Also a good idea to have basic handtools, too.

Keep assorted tools and extra elc parts for the motor in the trunk just in case ! Maybe a fan belt that's about it things will brake it's normal unless you rebuild everything I'd drive it and worry about it when it happens! .
I daily driver my cars often I just started driving my 72 charger 440 4 speed issues poped up and I take care of them no biggie just have aaa for a tow if something big happens always say flat bed hook plus old car is never good !

I drive my b belv daily I installed a gm alternator and ran a volt gauge instead of amp meter
the charge goes directly to battery where it belongs

95 amp alternator more that enough

#1 - fire extinguisher
#2 - bulkhead connector; consider changing the ammeter to a voltmeter, which will reduce the chance of melting/fire at the bulkhead connector which would be costly and unfortunate.
#3 cell phone with a good amount of battery left and AAA card.
