What is the difference between the Dana and the moper 8 3/4 rear end with the 4spds length?

The Plymouths Drive shafts are 50.39 inches

I am not a expert but want to understand...

Dana driveshafts 1966 thru 1971 are the same size for all B bodies?

8 3/4 driveshafts 1966 thru 1971 are the same size for all B bodies?

so why is does your drive shaft have different measurements?

Thank you sir:

Thank you sir:
Dodges have a 1" longer driveshhaft and Dana's use a shorter driveshaft than a 8.75.

The front leaf spring mounting brackets are 1 inch longer on the Dodge B body cars,117 inch wheel base, verses the Plymouth B body cars, which have a 116 inch wheel base.

Difference between a Dana 60 and a 8 3/4 is 1.14".

Hello sir.... is that consistent with all 1966-71

Being new to Mopars are we measuring the shaft with out the U joints?

Thank you....
