On a 69 GTX, if a Dana 60 axle was swapped out to an 8 3/4, would the driveshaft length remain the same? I don't have the Dana available to measure and compare. Thanks.

Agreed.
The 60 is a tad bit longer. If all the parts are factory the Dana driveshaft will need to be "around" an inch shorter. I don't remeber the exact number but have run into this in years past.

The driveshaft Dana to 8.75 will be an 1" and little short. You could use a driveshaft from a 69 Dodge R/T the driveshaft is 1" longer than a Plymouth.

It will be different as stated above. I went the other way in my 69 RR. I had a Strange shaft with the 8 3/4 and ordered a new one for my Dana. I still have my old one, debating on selling it.

I have a friend in Naples NY that builds driveshafts.
Pm me if your interested I can check with him and give you his number.

It looks like I am going to go a different way, but thank you.
