what is the difference between a 4144 and a 4670 holley carb?
I'm running a 4144 and still having problems with it. Is a 4670 a better carb?
It's on my 75 440 with a mild cam.
Thanks

I guess no one knows this answer......

Hi Kelly,
I personally did not have the Internet when I was young SO I went to the Wright-Patterson AFB Library in Dayton Ohio and took out a BOOK on Holley Carbs to educate myself.
I later on BOUGHT a Holley Carb book along with a Rochester Quadrajet book
I have some info
Not all CARBS are created equal
Some Vacuum secondary's
Some Mechanical
Different applications

thanks for the info, but I'm dealing with the 2bbr carbs. I'm thinking the difference is a vac and man for the secondarys.

Other than it's the center carb for a six pack I can't tell you much more.

4670 would be a 1971 Carb. 4144 would be 1970.Just different list numbers for the correct years that's all.Unless there is a different base plate for different vacuum lines on the 1971? 4144 would be jetted for the 390hp 440 according to Holley.

Oh hell,
I missed that!
An I just sold a new in box 70 Six Pack set-up
So sorry man!
