Dinner last night.

My wife and I stop at this little truck stop in kansas for the night. We get inside and it is a order at the hot bar style. My wife asks, do you have a cod dinner? No replied the lady, wife says are you sure I've had it here before? No we dont have a cod dinner. Wife, it shows it right here on the menu are you sure? Mam we do not have a cod dinner. Then she explains, everything we have is ala carte. Wife, ok do have 3 pieces of cod? Yes, ok do you have green beans and a roll? Yes, now don't you think that qualifies as a cod dinner? MAM I TOLD YOU WE DO NOT HAVE A COD DINNER! Wife, you just dont get it do you? Lady looked at her with a glazed in her eyes and says, now what do you want?

ala carte is self-explanatory. Just go with the flow....
