Took these disk brakes off a 1966 satellite, can they be used on a e body

Those were not original to your 66 for sure. Someone up graded the drum to these disks. Cannot tell if them spindles are the A body (same as E body) or taller 'B' spindles (73+B, F, M, J or R body) but either way will work on an E body.

ok after looking at your pics closer, looks like they are the 'B' spindles as the lower balljoint uses a nut and bolt to fasten it to the spindle and IIRC the A & E body spindles are threaded so that only a bolt fastens the lower balljoint to them. Still either way it doesn't matter :)
