I have just changed my front drums to disc brakes. It has been a battle trying to get the right parts online. I wanted to keep my 14" wheels and succeeded. I can give some details as to what you need for anyone changing to disc on a '71 roadrunner.

Go ahead and list out the parts and part#s.
Pictures would be nice as well.
Did you use factory parts or aftermarket ?
Looks like your first post. Welcome.
You should go to the Welcome forum and introduce yourself along with some pictuires of your car.

Congrats on the drum to disc conversion on a 71 RR

factory stuff ? spindle rotor calipers bearings lines :blah: etc. ?

Part #'s ? or where you bought them if you have them
it may help someone too
or another aftermarket deal ?
(nothing wrong with them either, usually require a 15"+ wheel)

this is just the welcome wagon not as many viewers here
not really intended as a Q&A or tech section, either
It's just to get to know each other, an intro, some background
maybe share a few photos :blah:

I ordered front rotors (Power Stop AR8322XPR) for my '71 roadrunner from Parts Geek. They fit very well. I couldn't find '71 roadrunner spindles so I ordered '71 Satellite. The bearings are larger on the Satellite. I sent them back and ordered '73 roadrunner spindles. They were the same as Satellite. My friend found some bearings (Precision A17) that would work with the spindles and the rotors, The spindles came with brackets. The calipers called out for '71 roadrunner would not work with the brackets. I had to order '73 roadrunner calipers (97-17623A & 97-17623B). Brake pads (Wagner MX-84) Compression lines BHA99069). Thankfully it all worked with my 14" factory wheels with about 1/2" clearance. I will have to transfer pictures from my phone later.
