Disc/Drum on a 67 B Body

With front disc and rear drum, with distribution brass block, do I have to have the 'Hold Off' three outlet valve as well for the front brakes? The valves for sale say they are for 69 and up. This is a non booster system.

So then your not going through disc pads faster than drum shoes? From using more front than back? What it does is hold off the front brakes until the rear springs have enough pressure to move..

I have a 70 gtx with the hold off valve...

I've had several cars with manual disc and never really noticed the rate of wear being a concern....

I use the 73-76 a body brass proportional valve. It doesn’t use a hold off valve.

I did the swap last year and street driving no noticeable difference, but trying to do a burnouts won't hold. I do I have a correct prop valve and master cylinder I'm going to install when I do my motor swap though
