Hi all,

I am a beginner with upholstery. I haven't been able to find the stock door panels for my 67 Belvedere I so I thought I would try to create something similar. I don't know if there is a way to reproduce the dielectric heat stamp on the vinyl so I tried sewing in the same pattern, but it doesn't have the same raised effect. This first attempt was using some scrap vinyl material with foam backing (some extra headliner actually). To get a better effect, do I need to add more foam or would I be better off some backing material? Or is there an inexpensive way to recreate this effect?

Thanks,

Thanks, but it doesn't look like they carry Belvedere I panels. They have BelvII, satellite, gtx, but there's probably not enough demand for the BelvedereI style.
