Bush, then another 2 years under Obama, all they did was pass the much hated health care bill personal health insurance mandate, remember the Nancy quote "just pass it & you find out what's in the bill" & they still have the senate & aren't doing anything good for the nations problems let alone anybody that wants to grow a business unless your a big union or major reelection supporter, the Democrats are fully responsible for were the nation is now & he is the leader of the party... Change, Yea right this socialist progressive liberal, share the wealth, piece of $&%# killing the economy, And $4.50+ a gallon gas & going up {not really his fault, but he contributes to it}, the 43-60 million people either on food stamps or long term unemployed for over 2 years {worst ever in history} & the 14%-18%+ of actual unemployment, not the bogus 8.3% they claim & in the last 3 years nearly doubling of the nations debt {only 20% of the budget was military, whats the other 80% spent by this administration ??}, with the highest govt. spending in all of history combined & the 5-6 conflicts we are involved in "are Bush's fault", also I guess, wake up the Obama administration has you thinking every thing is someone else's fault, WHAT A JOKE... Two wars that went nowhere? You might want to read up on some facts. For starters, Saddam Hussein was a far bigger threat than most people realize. Hussein had an oft-stated dream of being a unifier of the Middle East. His first attempt at this was invading Iran, which failed. His next attempt was to take Mecca in Saudi Arabia, but while he could invade from the north, he would get pushed back by reinforcements landing at Jeddah and Jubail, so he had to take those ports first, which means an amphibious attack... not something you can do well when you have no deep-water ports to launch such an invasion. Enter Kuwait. Hussein didn't invade Kuwait for riches, but because he needed their ports to have any chance of taking and holding Saudi Arabia. Once he lost Kuwait, and most of his elite armored forces, he had no choice but to resort to WMDs to first protect him from his neighbors and second to fulfill his dream. Thanks to all the footdragging by Democrats, Hussein was able to evacuate his nuclear program to Syria before we got there, and thankfully the Israelis were nice enough to blow up in 2007.

The constantly repeated lie that there was no WMD programs in Iraq have fooled some people into thinking the invasion there was un-necessary, but the truth is we would be in much worse shape had we not invaded and Hussein developed nuclear weapons.

As for Afghanistan, we should have focused on extracting a heavy vengence for their support of terrorism and called it a day. I think the way Reagan dealt with Quadaffi back in the 1980s would have been more effective than toppling the Talliban.

Well let's see. The coal industry in WV has never done anything for anybody in this state other than create a few jobs. They rape our state and kill their employees by not following the safety rules put in place to protect the miners. Mountain top mining is going to be the ruination of this state. They flatten our beautiful mountains and then dump what used to be the top in the streams. **** the coal industry. They have been stealing our resources for at least 100 years. And our state gets nothing in return but mountains turned into parking lots and the streams running next to them polluted with the leftover now useless dirt. By the way, what do unions have to do with this. I never mentioned anything about unions in my original post. And another thing. In WV the Governor, and a majority of the state legislators in both houses of the state congress, both of our Senators and 1 of 3 in the House of Representatives in DC are Democrats.
