Because of my immense popularity, I recieve doizens of private messages a day and because I do follow the rules here, I've often wondered what would happen if I did type below the "********* DO NOT WRITE BELOW THIS LINE **********" line.

Would I be banned, placed on double secret probation or would all my "thanks" vanish? Has anyone here done it and has lived to tell?

The line has been there less than a month .. started on 25 or 26 Dec.

I like it. What do you guys think?

The reason for it is some people respond in the middle of the person's comment they are responding too when PMs go back and forth

When that happens its hard to find their response

It is intended to be a guide not a rule, and not a law at all. You could consider it a warning to save some from themselves if you want or to HELP people use the site. Not all are at the same experience level.
